Dupen Lumbar Tech Mattress Pack + Premium Ottoman Bed

Product description

Dupen Lumbar Tech Pack: a firm mattress with lumbar reinforcement on both sides + Premium ottoman storage bed

Two pieces bought together and delivered together: the Dupen Lumbar Tech mattress and the Premium ottoman storage bed 34 cm, with a reinforced structure and a lift-up opening to make use of all the space under the bed. Here's the detail on each one.

The mattress

The Lumbar Tech is Dupen's mattress for those who sleep better on a firm surface. It has a lumbar reinforcement band at kidney height, and not on one side but on both, so it can be flipped over without losing the reinforcement. And it has no memory foam: the padding is Airdream® high-density, and hypoallergenic fibre, which retains less heat and springs back into shape as soon as you turn over.

How it's made, layer by layer

This is the composition Dupen states in the model's official technical datasheet, and what each layer gives you when you lie down:

The details you can't see

• Firm firmness. Dupen classes it as firm, not medium. That's a fact, not an opinion: if you're after a soft mattress, this isn't it.
• What the lumbar reinforcement is designed for. According to the manufacturer, the aim of the lumbar support is to keep the spine in a neutral alignment while you sleep, distributing body weight more evenly. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional advice; it is a design decision of the mattress.
• Double-sided mattress with six embroidered handles. It's used on both sides, and the handles are what makes turning it manageable between two people.
• Breathable fabric with anti-dust-mite treatment, padded sides and corner reinforcement.
• Firmness-stabilising frame around the whole perimeter: it's what lets you use the full width of the mattress, right to the edge.
• Manufacturer's warranty of up to 5 years. It's worth knowing how it works: Dupen covers 2 full years and, from the third year onwards, the additional part is prorated at 33,3 % a year on the invoice amount. These are the manufacturer's official terms, and we'd rather you knew them before buying, not after.
• Spanish manufacturer. Dupen has been making mattresses in Spain since 1966. The Lumbar Tech is made to order in the size you choose.

And with this in mind

• 28 ± 1 cm of mattress height · firm firmness · double-sided mattress with six embroidered handles.
• Manufacturer's warranty of up to 5 years on the mattress: Dupen covers 2 full years and, from the third year onwards, the additional part is prorated at 33.3% a year on the invoice amount. These are their official terms, and we'd rather you knew them before buying.
• The mattress is made to order in the size you choose. Dupen has been manufacturing in Spain since 1966.

Is this the pack you're looking for?

It's a good fit if you sleep better on a firm surface, if you dislike the feeling of sinking in, if you get too warm with memory foam, or if you need to gain space in the bedroom without giving up lumbar support.

It's not your pack if you're after a cradling, hugging feel: that's what the memory foam range is for.

Delivery

We deliver only in Málaga and the surrounding area, from Vélez-Málaga to San Pedro de Alcántara, with delivery and assembly included in the bedroom. The usual lead time is 7-20 working days because the mattress is made for you.
